Mom and pups looking for foster!

by Joseph Romero on May 26, 2017

Name: Olive and her 4 pups
Age: 5 years old / 4 weeks old
Breed: Chihuahua / Dachshund mix
Foster Period: 2-4 weeks

Hi all,

I’ve got a super special mom with 4 little ones that we’d like to find placement for. I’d like to keep the family together for another 2 weeks as the pups are still nursing. At that point, we’ll have mom return and start on her quest on finding a forever home. The pups can either stay with you or be refostered into two foster homes at that point.

Olive is a sweet mom that is just looking for a place for her and the pups to relax. How could anyone possibly resist their cute little faces???

If you’ve got the space… they’ll give you all the love you can handle.

Thanks!

Fabulous 5 Week Olds Looking For Fosters!

by Vanessa Molletti on May 25, 2017

Name: Felicia, Fabiola, and Fatima
Age: 5 weeks old
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Foster Period: 3-4 weeks

More shy kittens! This trio of kittens are curious and playful! They get scared with fast movements and loud noises, so they would be best for a house hold that has a separate quiet, low-traffic, space for them to relax in between visiting hours. They also have a clear ring-leader, grey gal Felicia! She is always front and center, and appears to be the spokes-kitten for her siblings. I’d bet that once you win her over, the others will be easy to quick to follow her lead!

At 5 weeks old, these guys need to be fed 4-5 times a day with some warmed and watered down wet food as they transition onto thicker wet and dry foods. This trio has been waiting in our shelter for several days now with no one interested in taking them home. Please let me know if you’re interested in giving them some time away from the shelter to blossom!

Name: Tortuga
Age: 5 weeks old
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Foster Period: 3-4 weeks

Next we have sweet, purry singleton, Tortuga. She is loving and reserved, as you can see, she sat so politely for this picture. Afterwards, I pet her and she was all cuddles! No doubt that she would love to snuggle with you at home and get some petite one on one play time. If this Tortie girl sounds like your kind of kitten, let me know! She will need to be fed at least 4 times daily at her age with soupy wet food.

Name: Yorrick
Age: 5 weeks old
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Foster Period: 3-4 weeks

Lastly, little Yorrick. This lovely boy is very social and ready to meet and greet with you. While he doesn’t get right in your face for play, he definitely wants to be with you! He’s another great option if you’re looking for that purry kitten fix! Like the rest of our 5 week olds, Yorrick will need to be fed about 4-5 times daily with a watered down wet food while he gets used to eating thicker foods.

Thank you!!
