Update: All kittens have fosters for the holidays!

by Mimi Dietderich on November 24, 2015

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to send out a quick post for anyone available for a house guest over Thanksgiving weekend! If you see anyone listed that you are interested in please let me know and I would be happy to send them home with you!

Thank you for visiting 🙂 I have already found a foster home!

Name: Kianna
Age: 3 years
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: 4+ weeks

This friendly feline suffered a pelvic fracture that paralyzed her tail in the process. Although her tail will need to be amputated in a future procedure Kianna will be able to heal naturally and will not need to under go reconstructive surgery for her pelvis at this time. Kianna will need to be confined to a small room without furniture that she can climb on or in a large crate while she recovers. Kianna should not run, jump, play roughly or do any activity that could further injure herself. If you would like a quiet, friendly companion please let us know and we would love to introduce you to Kianna!

Fostered stamp 2

Name: Larry, Curly, Moe
Age: 4-5 weeks
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: 3-4 weeks

These three little ones entered out care with conjunctivitis and an upper respiratory infection to go with it. They are being treated with an oral antibiotic as well as an eye ointment and are responding well. Larry, Curly, and Moe (unlike their famous counterparts) are not all laughs and giggles. These three are on the under socialized side and would do well to go to a home that would be able to help them come out of their shell. If you would like an amazing comedy trio please let us know and we would be happy to add a little humor to your home for the holiday!

Fostered stamp 2

Name: Felix
Age: 6-7 weeks
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: 2-3 weeks

Felix is another one of our upper respiratory infection kittens. This little guy (much like our trio) is under socialized and will need to spend a little extra time in foster to help him come around and turn into a little love bug. If you would like to help Felix please let us know and we would love for you to meet him!

Fostered stamp 2

Name: Jax
Age: ~9 weeks
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: 2 weeks

Jax is a more recent addition to our foster family. This little guy entered our care with his mother but unfortunately didn’t pick up on her naturally social nature. Jax is of weight to go to spay and neuter but I’m sure it would do wonders for him to go out to a home for a few weeks before returning to our care and going to surgery. If you would be interested in a singleton that is looking for his purr please let us know!

Fostered stamp 2

Name: Salem
Age: 8 weeks
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: ~2 weeks

Salem is a kitten that doesn’t have an upper respiratory infection but she has been struggling with some intestinal distress. Don’t worry though as her stool has improved greatly and is only slightly softer than normal. Because of this she will be on a special bland diet and will be sent home with an oral medical and probiotic to help her digestion. If you are interested and available to take home a loving little kitten please consider Salem!

Update: Special feline has a home

by Mimi Dietderich on November 18, 2015

Hi everyone!

If you didn’t see my last post we still have a few cats and kittens of various ages that are undergoing treatment for upper respiratory infections. If you would be interested in taking home one of these fine felines I’m sure that they would benefit greatly from the short break. That being said I also have a few felines that will need a longer time in foster that I would also like to post for in hopes that they will have a home for the holiday as well!
