UPDATE: Both cats have found placement

by Joseph Romero on March 10, 2017

Thank you for visiting 🙂 I have already found a foster home!

Name: Faye
Age: 11 months old
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: 10-14 days

Faye is a young cat that has been having issues on and off issues with conjunctivitis (inflammation of the pink membrane part of the eyelid). This is leading us to believe that the stress of the shelter is messing with her immune system so we’d like to get her out in foster for a short time to see if this is actually the case. Because conjunctivitis is contagious to other cats, it is best if she goes to a foster without any others in the house hold. Or if you can keep them completely separate then that would be fine too. Faye is a very sweet adolescent that is just looking for a place to chill. 🙂

Thank you for visiting 🙂 I have already found a foster home!

Name: Nefertiti
Age: 4 years old
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Period: 2 weeks

Speaking of sweet cats, next up we have Nefertiti who dealing with skin/fur issues. Like with Faye, we think that the stress of shelter life is interfering with a more speedy recovery. We would like to get her into a foster home for the next two weeks. During that time,we will be treating her with a low dose steroid in hopes of reducing the itchiness that is attributing to her skin/fur problems. Once we get that under control, we can get her in for a dental and start the search in finding her forever home.

Please let us know if you are available to help with either of these great cats!
